Byron A. Dunn
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
Mr. Dunn was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Development on September 26, 2005. He is responsible for strategy, global mergers and acquisitions, corporate capital formation and risk management. Mr. Dunn previously served on Harvest's Board of Directors and was a member of the Audit and Compensation committees. He resigned these roles to join Harvest's management team. From 2003 through 2005, Mr. Dunn was with National Oilwell, Inc., as Vice President, Corporate Business Development directing global acquisitions and divestments, ran a major business unit and assisted in corporate strategy development. Most notably, he chaired the National Oilwell/Varco integration team and was President of Eastern Hemisphere Rig Solutions, a $900 million revenue business. Mr. Dunn was also Chairman of the Board of TTS Marine ASA, a Bergen Norway ship's equipment manufacturer. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Dunn held increasingly responsible roles in UBS global energy and power investment banking group where he specialized in oilfield services and E&P. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dunn spent considerable time in West Siberia, Europe and South America as Manager of Upstream Business Development and acquisitions for Phibro Energy and had five years of line operational experience as a drilling, production and reservoir engineer for Chevron USA. Mr. Dunn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in finance from the University of Chicago, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Dunn is a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens National Bank and serves on the Audit, Strategy and IT Steering committees.
